Thank you for your interest in the Test Sites Program.
Test Sites 2026 will support up to five artists to develop and test a new public art project idea. Artists will be supported through a series of intensive workshops, plus mentor support to assist with creative development and project management.
Test Sites is not designed to support the production and delivery of a resolved public art project.
Applicants are to complete an estimated budget of between $10,000 to $20,000 towards the development and testing of their public art project idea.
This iteration of Test Sites considers the Public Art Framework 2021-2031.
Applications for the Test Sites program follow the schedule below.
- Complete the Test Sites Application by 5pm on Monday 23 March 2026.
- Applications are assessed within 1-2 weeks of the closing date.
- Shortlisted applicants may be required to attend an interview
- Successful and unsuccessful applicants are notified in the week commencing Monday 6 April 2026.
